This is our tiny blue male...he was bred here at Le-Leone. We wanted to wait until he was fully grown to introduce him. He name is Matteo - which is Italian for "gift of God". And for us he is a precious gift... a perfect little Shih Tzu, with a correct bite, no eye white, and good structure in a tiny body. Matteo's coat is coming in with lovely shades of silver and powder blue! And as with all Le-Leone Shih Tzu, he is a loving and lively little dog.
How small is he? He measures eight inches at the shoulder, eleven and half inches from rump to chest, and he weighs in at 4 lbs, 14 ounces!
We are very proud to have produced Matteo and to have him here as one of our new studs at Le-Leone. We will be using him with some of our tiny girls here in the future to produce champion pedigreed Imperials.
He has a wonderful flat little face, as seen in this side view. We have photograped him in full natural sunlight, so that you can accurately see his true blue coloring...and with ordinary items, like gardening gloves, to give a size perspective.
